Misc. Comments

There have been 4 recordings at least, on Orion, Supraphon, Chandos and cpo, as of March 2018. The full score was apparently not published until 2014 (by Ries & Erler, in an edition by Hagels.)

Contrary to NML's Krommer 2 page, there are clarini parts (NML has "1,2,2,1-2Hn.-Str." - flute, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, bassoon, 2 horns, strings - but there are clarini and timpani parts here in this first edition, a clarinetto obligato and 2nd clarinet part, and one bassoon part marked Fagotto II (the first bassoon may be meant to be the "Basso" in "Basso e Violoncello", since the contrabasses have their -own- handwritten Contrabasso part.)
