A famous music-hall song, based on Charles Wells, a famous gambler who broke the Monte Carlo's cash registers six times in three days, and walked away with £6 million in today's money. Stable act of Charles Coborn, who could sing in multiple languages, and reckoned he sung it one hundred thousand times in his career.

Tagging is subject to correction; since this was a music hall song, it is presumed that the original accompaniment was some sort of orchestra.
