Extra Information The sonata's lacking third movement was "based upon a Russian folksong" according the composer's account in a letter, but never actually written down. The Borisovsky 'completion' issued for the complete edition of Glinka's works in 1932 only pertains to some minor 'reconstruction' in the two extant movements.
