This may not be the same as the "Violinkonzert in D dur" (neu) premiered in 1840 mentioned in AMZ that year. (It's possible that latter work is lost, of course. It is mentioned earlier - in 1839 - but its publisher is given as Haslinger, not Diabelli, and presumably its publication fell through.)
