This WorldCat entry says this was "Originally for violin with orchestra; accompaniment arranged for piano." However, that entry is for the Eulenberg edition on this page, which does not mention any arrangement, so it looks like this was an assumption on someone's part. Further, many of these Schule (student) concertos never had orchestral accompaniments. Tagged for violin and piano, but this may need to be changed in the unlikely event that an original orchestral version is found.
