Extra Information The Carus Verlag urtext edition commentary notes that the first edition was "Six Short Pieces" published by Novello in 1898. This set of pieces partially overlaps with WoO 25: (a) No.2 is the same as WoO 25/8, (b) No.3 is similar to WoO 25/7, except with a different time signature and different ending, and (c) No.4 is a revised version of WoO 25/10 that is transposed down a semitone and has an extended ending.
