Misc. Notes These pieces, although first published on 4 staves - like Annuale (1645) by Fasolo - were intended for keyboard, organ and harpsichord, and a reduction of those four parts on two staves certainly does not constitute an arrangement.

Misc. Comments

"The Fantasie were published in four-staff partitura. Like some other north Italian keyboard sources, including Adriano Banchieri's L'organo suonarino published in several editions from 1605 to 1638 (but unlike all of Frescobaldi's other collections in open score)".
