| Extra Information | In 1896, Hamelle allotted Op.60 for this work, but Fauré decided not to publish it (1894 revision) at that time. Thus, Op.60 was never used. Fauré revisited and completed the work in the summers of 1903–05, and this was the version assigned Op.89 and published by Schirmer. |
