Misc. Notes	Consists of 2 Preludes and Fugues in G major and C major. The manuscript binding cover notes these are Vorstudien zu op.100. Their RISM incipits (mostly) do not match those for Op.100 as published by Hainauer, so they must indeed be preliminary studies. The Fugue in G major might be the same or similar as the version from Hainauer. However, RISM labels both of these works as Op.100 No.1 and No.2, so the metadata appears to be inconsistent is other RISM entries for Op.100. Extra Information	It is unclear whether this opus comprises 24 preludes/fugues (in all keys, as noted in the subtitle), or if the composer only completed 12 of them, those that were published in the first edition. Note the recording referenced in the All Music Guide (Pan Classics, 2000) has 24 tracks, but only 12 preludes/fugues: each prelude/fugue pair is split into separate tracks.
