Sonatas for Piano, Vol.3 (pp.53-89) Moscow: Muzyka, 1979. Plate 10441.URTEXT EDITION This "urtext" or "scholarly" (scientific) edition was published at least 25 years ago in the EU (or 20 years ago in Italy, before 1997 in the former USSR). Hence, the edition is public domain in its country of origin or a government publication. Such editions are also public domain in Canada because they fail to meet the minimum 'threshold of originality' to qualify for copyright as an 'adaptation'. They may not be public domain elsewhere. More information about this can be found here. Please obey the copyright laws of your country. IMSLP does not assume any sort of legal responsibility or liability for the consequences of downloading files that are not in the public domain in your country.

Dates given as 1931-2 in some sources. If published in 1931, this is ruled out, but copyright date is not on the Zimmermann first edition score ([193-] at best, plate Z.11,548, one sees in Worldcat), and until/unless one has better evidence of first publication date in HMB e.g. ... - ES
Apparently published in 1933. Intended to be published with Op.53 by Zimmermann, but the latter reneged and ultimately was published opening 1933- and later this edition was republished by Zimmermann after all (likewise the first edition of Op.53 No.1) (see Martyn, p.209 and ca.)
