The Schott edition is reviewed in the 24 January 1827 issue of the Berliner allgemeine musikalische Zeitung (pp.25–27) by "v.d. O..r.". What's with "Scherzando" vivace? It's clearly "Scherzo" in the first edition- do we have reason to suppose "Scherzando" is a change that originates with Beethoven? It's not like the corrupt Mollo edition of the 4th-6th quartets...
