A topical song about a Bolshevik comically rebelling against the status quo. This was also what they were doing in Russia at the time, as they'd just recently overthrown the Tsar and brought the end of the Russian Empire and the beginning of the Soviet Union. This song was part of Ernest Hastings' repertoire, a famous English entertainer at the piano.
