1841 edition attributes the work only to "G. Müller". This is not much to go on; please provide evidence/details for Georg Gottfried Müller or will be moved to the G. Müller category soonest.
Could therefore also be by Georg Gustav Miller (1803-1863) from Austria (see Wikipedia-de). For perhaps an even more likely attribution, see the performers (and probably? also composers) @ Gebrüder Müller (also German Wikipedia). (And they might well write violin duets for each other...)
