  • This is the very first printed book of polyphonic music. It is also the logo of the IMSLP.
  • According to Grove Music, most of the contents are chansons, although most of them do not have text, the text would have either been known to the people of the time, or available elsewhere. There are a few pieces that may have been instrumental in origin. Accordingly, this has been tagged for chansons, motets and pieces (the generic for instrumental works).
