Neue Gesamtausgabe, Band XXI. XXI. Kleine Kirchenmusikwerke, (pp.41-47) Vienna: Musikwissenschaftlicher Verlag, 1984. URTEXT EDITION This "urtext" or "scholarly" (scientific) edition is in the public domain because it was published at least 25 years ago for most of the EU (20 years ago in Italy, 30 years ago in Poland) over 25 years ago for the former USSR. Such editions are also public domain in Canada because they fail to meet the minimum 'threshold of originality' to qualify for copyright as an 'adaptation'. They may not be public domain elsewhere. - In the first edition of the revised version of 1888, the ordering for the 4 compositions deviates from the original ordering by the composer. The WAB ordering for the 4 compositions, as it is on the score, deviates also from the original ordering by the composer, as currently published by the Bruckner Gesamtausgabe. See Discography by Hans Roelofs. The fifth Tantum ergo in the fascicule is the 1888 version of Tantum ergo, WAB 42.
