Misc. Comments

According to Deutsch, the 1829 edition of the song included a piano introduction that was written by Anton Diabelli, and which was adopted in all later reprints. This introduction, however, is not exactly the same as the one actually written by Schubert, included in the 5th version of the song (first published by the Neue Schubert-Ausgabe in 1975).
